In a word

The employee survival kit is an innovative and fun mobile application that helps employees provide answers when teased or questioned about EDF by relatives and friends.

The project

During an evening with friends, have you ever been told “EDF’s too expensive” or “Linky gives off harmful emissions”? R&D has come up with an ‘employee survival kit’, a mobile application that has all the answers to hand: sound arguments, visual aids, as well as fun modules and interactive experiences to offer your friends, using novel technologies (voice recognition, artificial intelligence, augmented reality) that you can be proud to demonstrate. The kit will allow you to handle tricky situations with accurate information and humour..

The survival kit is undergoing testing with 200 employees, and may ultimately be deployed through the mobile application VEOL. In 2020, new content will be developed in relation to tenders, competition, electric heating and electric transportation. It is unlimited in scope and can cover other topics such as transport, nuclear power or employee benefits.

Why is this a game changer ?

95% of the 200 testers
found the survival kit useful and enjoyed using it.
Thanks to the survival kit, 100% of employees were able to get out of sticky situations during social gatherings, and now know more about their company.
The survival kit will improve the way in which EDF is seen externally
help update its employer brand, and further strengthen the sense of pride in belonging to the Group.
