In a word
Achatpédia simplifies access to purchasing information – paperwork, contracts, suppliers, buyers contacts – for all users who need it.
Achatpédia is a search engine that brings together all purchasing related information: suppliers, active contracts, products available, and contacts in the Group Purchasing Division, in Accounts, and among purchasers.
Thanks to a simple user-friendly design, a document sharing space, an intelligent search engine and an integrated hotline, this innovation makes daily routines easier for all employees tasked with a purchase: purchasers, assistants, purchasing advisors, project coordinators, procurement officers, industrial policy managers, etc.
With Achatpédia, no more muddling through and no more wasting time! All information is centralised in one single system. Data is updated on a daily basis. Employees are able to quickly find reliable information, wherever it may be located (VEOL, PGI, Dauphin).
This system was designed and engineered in-house, drawing on user feedback. Achatpédia therefore addresses real issues and real needs. In less than 6 months, Achatpédia has already attracted more than 4000 users, purely by word of mouth!
The Achatpédia team now wants to develop ‘My purchasing status’, a personal dashboard for tracking your purchases at every stage, for controlling your budget, for raising questions, and for identifying a procurement officer. The goal is for Achatpédia to become the official system for communicating with the purchasing, procurement and accounts sectors.
In addition, other Group subsidiaries, in particular Renewables, have shown interest in this innovation.
